“Initially for us choosing a solar system to suit our needs was quite daunting, however undertaken some research I had a pretty clear idea of what I was after. It was by chance I came across Sid from Sun Star Electrical & had the opportunity to discuss suitable solar systems with him.
Furthermore Sid took the time to go up on the roof of our house so that he could see first-hand what system (panel size etc,) could be installed. I approached other solar providers & the majority of other solar providers purely relied on satellite pictures from Google Earth to come up with a quote & they did not specifically listen to us & they were trying to pressure us into buying the system off them. For this reason we purchased the solar system off Sun Star Electrical, which also included full installation of the entire system.
When the installation date was locked in Sid showed up on time & installed a 12.6kW Solar with battery system. The installation process was better than my wife & I expected. Additionally we upgraded the electrical meter box with safety switches etc. Sid was in contact with me throughout the installation so there was never any concerns about the job being completed. The system has now being operation for a few weeks now & as we head into winter the actual system is operating better than I expected. At lunch time today the solar panel output peaked at 9,800w & as we are learning how to adjust our power usage (such as not running the dish washer when the hot water system is running) we have been able to supply all of our power needs for the last week.
I would happily recommend Sun Star Electrical for any solar system installations, Sid’s knowledge of solar systems is far superior to anyone else I spoke to.”
